Hi Teri & Cher
We will think of you when we raise our glasses to the completion of our “Arbutus” which is very close 👏
Just need to tin the roof, finish up the floorboards and translucent staining! We are all excited to see and use the finished space. It went together like a puzzle 🧩
Thanks again for all your assistance and patience during the supply chain challenges and all of our inquiries. Hope things are back on track for you.
Cheers to a great summer!

PacRim Log Structures specializes in deconstructed log structure kits, that are easily assembled on your property by a skilled carpenter.
Each unit will come flat packed, wrapped in a thick tarp paper, and strapped to a pallet. Inside you will find:
– tongue & groove wall boards, floor boards, and roof boards in specified thickness
– all doors and windows
– hardware and lock assemblies
– nails and screws to construct the unit.
We provide technical drawings and assembly instructions for your unit upon purchase.
For more detailed information about the specific components included, please check our ‘Product Information’ page.
How do I Protect my Unit?
We recommend treating your unit immediately after assembly to ensure it is not negatively affected by the climate, especially on the West Coast. Wood Oil, Stain, or Paint can be used on both the exterior and interior of the unit to provide protection, and aesthetic. We encourage you to speak to a local paint supplier to determine the best product for your specific climate and unit.
PacRim works with local suppliers to provide high quality products that are tailored to your unit. Contact us for a customized quote.
To learn more about protecting your unit, please check our ‘Extras & Upgrades’ page.
How do I Build the Unit?
Included in your purchase of a structure is technical drawings and assembly instructions specific to your unit. These drawings will show a list of all materials included and how they should be assembled, as well as dimensions and elevations for the unit. We do not recommend relying solely on these documents to construct your unit however – carpentry experience is an asset.
The most important thing to remember is that your base needs to be square and level, otherwise as you build your unit it will be out of alignment exponentially as you get higher, which will result in warping and incorrect settling.
On our ‘Symbols & Assembly Instructions’ page, we do have a few assembly videos to show you the process of constructing one of our units.
We are here to assist you with any questions that you have along the way – please do not hesitate to contact us or your sales rep!
